Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum | Digital Marketing Manager

  • Led and managed a strategic and integrated digital content and social media strategy for the Museum, its exhibitions, programming and special events.

  • Managed overall administration of institutional email campaigns.

  • Developed and implemented all social media content, tailoring to the needs of the audience and platform.

  • Managed 24/7 global engagement on social media channels and continued to grow the Guggenheim’s community of social media fans on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

  • Collaborated with Digital Media and other departments to create behind-the-scenes high resolution videos including brand-based videos that resonated with the Museum’s online community.

  • Built and cultivated relationships with social media colleagues from publications including The New Yorker, Time Out New York, Refinery 29, as well as individual influencers and content creators to bring greater visibility to the Guggenheim’s exhibitions and events.

  • Belonged to the Museum’s crisis management team and effectively co-implemented an internal and external crisis communications protocol system. During the Art and China exhibition crisis, I co-managed internal and external staff communication, managed and responded to over 5,000 comments on the Guggenheim’s social media channels, and analyzed over 7,000 responses sent to the Museum via email, voicemails and snail mail.   

  • Analyzed the performance of emails and social media platforms through weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to share with Museum staff and the board.
